Rebecca Ramage loves photography and architecture. “I’ve always been a fan of the Brutalist style and Number Ten is a brut of a building with great presence. It’s one of the reasons I was drawn to photograph it, as well as the fact that it will soon disappear from the city skyline.”

This exhibition celebrates the contribution the building – the offices of the Tasmanian Government – has made to Hobart visually and economically since it was built for the Tasmanian Government in 1969.

Demolition works are already under way at 10 Murray Street. You can pay homage to the building both revered and reviled on the boarding deck at Brooke Street Pier.

This event is generously supported by Brooke Street Pier.
