Formerly home to well-loved Hobart party haunt ‘Syrup’ nightclub, this site is dripping with stories of our waterfront history. Located in bustling Salamanca Place, the site is undergoing major demolition to adapt existing warehouse spaces, in combination with a major new build, to become a hotel in the heart of Salamanca. The project is the vison of the Behrakis Group and acclaimed Tasmanian architect Robert Morris-Nunn. The tricky construction process in the midst of a busy tourism precinct and above a working fruit and vegetable market, is providing a challenging build for VOS Construction and Joinery.
