The Tasmanian House 3

8 Park St, Ross

Architect: Jiri Lev

Tasmanian House 3 revisits a time when neighbours built practical homes together, fostering cohesive communities. Rather than chasing novelty, it restores agency, affordability and sustainability to everyday building. With three-metre ceilings, massive cedar beams, pine lining and Tasmanian oak floors, the house is warm and light-filled. Using natural materials over synthetics, it serves as both a practical home and a teaching model for healthy, sustainable living.
