Have you noticed the transformations that are happening at the Hobart Airport? Come on a tour with one of the architects working behind the scenes to learn about how the changes are happening at the same time that the airport remains open to passengers! Step inside Hobart Airport’s fascinating story. Originally operated by the Department of Civil Aviation and later managed by the Federal Airports Corporation, this airport has been a hub of activity for decades. In 1998, it became part of a nationwide wave of airports sold to private owners, marking a new chapter in its evolution. On our tour, you’ll uncover how the airport has grown and changed over the years, from design updates to behind-the-scenes operations. Discover the people, plans, and stories that keep this busy airport buzzing, and see firsthand how history and innovation take flight!
