This thoughtfully reimagined 1957 West Hobart brick home is now a vibrant, connected space for a young family. Designed for longevity, the renovation celebrates the home’s original charm while unlocking new potential. A striking light-filled stair now links both levels, connecting kitchen to garden and transforming a once-unused undercroft into a lively rumpus room. The rear extension, with its elegant brick blade walls, enhances privacy while complementing the home’s character and street presence. Every element—material, massing, and layout—was carefully considered for sustainability, affordability, and enduring beauty. With artistic and environmental insight from the clients and exceptional craftsmanship throughout, this project delivers a warm, functional, and future-ready family home that responds effortlessly to its context and community.
