Hobart’s Old Colonial Georgian buildings are perhaps the finest of this era in Australia. The fact that so many have avoided destruction and survived virtually intact to this day is astonishing. Walk with architect Bronwen Jones and hear about the ideas behind these sandstone beauties and leave with a deeper understanding of just how special these small-scale buildings are in defining Hobart’s unique urban fabric.
Featured buildings – Ingle Hall, Treasury Complex and Public Buildings, and former warehouses on New Wharf, Salamanca Place.
