Back On Your Bike | Get Ready To Ride
Various locations across Hobart, Stay tuned!
The ‘Back on your Bike’ program is a free initiative designed to encourage people to get back into cycling. Delivered by the Bicycle Network in partnership with local councils across the state, the program offers 90-minute group sessions or 60-minute one-on-one sessions focusing on skill-building activities, basic bike maintenance, navigating your area by bike, and ride suggestions to help put your new skills into practice.
Group Ride with Bicycle Network
See the city from a new perspective, meet people who ride regularly (and those who don’t), and get help identifying the common riding routes through Hobart.
Who is it for? Group rides are suited to intermediate riders looking to advance their commuter-rider skills with a qualified instructor, in a safe and encouraging environment.
Bring your own bike and register your spot via the booking link.
Back on your Bike Skills Refresher
Need help to get ready for the group ride? Beginners and lapsed riders can join our free Back on your Bike skills refreshers before Open House Hobart weekend. All equipment is provided, so you just need to bring yourself!
