Cascade Brewery: Behind the Walls
Step inside one of Hobart’s most recognisable landmarks for a rare behind-the-scenes look at Cascade Brewery.
Nestled beneath kunanyi/Mount Wellington, Cascade has been part of the South Hobart landscape for more than 200 years. For Open House Hobart, this special tour offers a chance to explore the architecture, history and gardens of a place most of us know from the outside.
Wander through the historic site and discover the stories held within its buildings, from the early days of brewing to the many changes that have shaped the precinct over time. Look closer at the architecture, explore the gardens and see how buildings, industry and landscape have evolved together.
Come and have a look behind the familiar façade and discover a different side of this much-loved Hobart landmark.
A rare opportunity to explore one of Hobart’s most historic sites and see Cascade through a new lens.
