BOOKINGS OPEN 12 NOON, FRIDAY AUG 13, 2021
Take a one-hour guided walking tour of Launceston after dark and learn how the lighting we add to our city impacts the way we use it and the environment at large.
This walk, hosted by members of Dark Sky Tasmania, will give a unique insight into urban lighting and the problem of light pollution. As you wind your way through the Launceston streets you will experience various examples, both good and bad, of how artificial light at night influences the way people interact with their city after dark, and the impact this is having on our planet.
