Take a one hour guided walking tour of Hobart after dark through the eyes of a lighting professional. Learn how the lighting we add to our city impacts the way we use it and the environment around us.
Hosted by members of Dark Sky Tasmania, this walk will provide a unique insight into urban lighting and the problem of light pollution. As you wind your way through the Hobart streets, you will experience various examples – both good and bad – of how artificial light at night influences the way people interact with their city after dark, and the impact this is having on our planet.
Tour: Friday 10 November and Saturday 11 November 2023, 9 pm and 9:15 pm
This tour finishes on the corner of Liverpool and Criterion Streets, Hobart
