OPEN HOUSE ON BRUNY ISLAND | SUN 10 NOV

REQUIRED DRIVING ROUTE

For those attending properties on Bruny Island tomorrow, please visit properties on North Bruny first – Shearers Quarters, Captain Kelly’s Cottage and Killora Bay – before heading to South Bruny to visit Bruny Island Hideaway and Coopworth.

Architects: Lara Maeseele in conjunction with Tanner Architects (2020)

On the slope above Killora Bay sits a holiday home for a young family that is influenced by the delicate Bruny Island environmental setting. The durable cladding is bushfire-resistant and built from locally sourced Silver-Top Ash. Glazing is set flush with the façade, reflecting the surrounding white gum forest. The exterior cladding continues as a lining into this entry area, concealing joinery elements within the walls and easing the transition between interior and exterior.

Open: Sunday 10 November 2024, 11am – 2pm (registration required)

Address: 412 Nebraska Rd, North Bruny
