Peek inside one of Oatlands’ oldest homes at Maher’s Point Cottage! Built around 1833 by gaol “Javelin man” Dennis Maher, this pint-sized pioneer pad has been lovingly revived by Alan Townsend and Philip Cranwell since 2016. Rebuilt walls, fresh floors and clever comforts bring new life to old stone, and visitors are welcome to explore the results and the restoration tales hidden within.
