Step inside 258 Macquarie Street and wander through layers of Hobart history! These Victorian Georgian sandstone terraces, once fire-damaged and neglected, have been carefully revived to showcase their heritage in all its glory. Notice the patina of past eras, subtle fire scars, and original details alongside clever modern touches – glass staircases, discreet bathrooms, and kitchens tucked into historic spaces like stage sets. Peek behind walls and around corners to see how intrusive elements were removed and heritage features restored. Every step tells a story of careful preservation, thoughtful adaptation, and the enduring charm of Hobart’s historic streetscape.
