Real Tennis Club

45 Davey St, Hobart

Architects: Samuel Smith Travers (1875), H20 (2002)

One of only four real tennis clubs in Australia, Hobart’s is also the oldest, dating back to the building of the court in 1875 on the site of a former brewery. But what is real tennis? Step inside the heritage-listed sandstone building opposite St David’s Park to find out, and catch a game while you’re there.
