Dale Campisi and Brady Michaels – aka The Gents – travelled more than 40,000 kms around Australia in search of the country’s best vintage signs for their photography book Signs of Australia: Vintage Signs from the City to the Outback (New South Books). On their journey, they found a wealth of vintage signs and advertising and discovered that Launceston was one of the best cities for sign hunting.

Dale and Brady will host a special walking tour of Launceston CBD, revealing some hidden gems and the stories behind the city’s built environment and its advertising history.
