Architect: Unknown (1832)
Did you know that The Kentish Tasmania was originally known as The Inverary Castle? It was built in 1832 by James McEwan who offered stabling and feeding for bullocks that were passing by on their trips to either end of the state. As well as feeding the animals, people loved a drink at this establishment, one local even recalls a keg under the veranda on tap for free tastings! Now a popular watering hole and eatery for the locals, you can still see remnants of the original fabric.
