Explore the city with photographer and storyteller Brady Michaels, author of Signs of Australia: Vintage Signs from the City to the Outback. This one-hour walk around Hobart’s CBD will reveal the hidden and not-so-hidden secrets of Hobart’s built environment, viewed through the lens of vintage signage, advertising and design.
Every sign tells a story, and Hobart is full of them.
Tours: Saturday 11 November 2023, 10 am , 12 pm, 2 pm
Duration: 1 hour
Cost: $25 per person, includes a copy of the Signs of Australia book.
* On Saturday, 11 November, Open House Hobart asks everyone to observe a minute silence at 11 am for Remembrance Day.
