Sheltering Series | Railway Roundabout + Godrich
Railway Roundabout
Beautiful spaces with incredible acoustics. Be immersed and inspired.
Sheltering invites you to experience a synchronicity of architecture, sound, music and design. We are passionate about spaces with incredible acoustics. Each artist has been carefully chosen and curated for a bespoke performance inspired by each place.
Originally Hobart’s main railway station, this three-lane sunken roundabout has a fountain at the centre. Tasmanian electronic artist Godrich will jam along to the surroundings and create an improvised ambient sound bath. Watch and listen to the work being created from 10 am and hear it performed in its various stages at 12 pm and then again at 2 pm.
