Exaltation Of The Holy Cross Church | Cancelled
The Holy Cross Russian Orthodox Church was founded by the late Mitred Archpriest Theodore Boriskevich in 1949 and serves a mixed Russian, Serbian & Australian Orthodox community. The construction of the church commenced in 1956 and was completed in 1963. The interior includes a beautiful display of religious art and iconography. This temple is not just a place of worship but also a testament to the rich cultural heritage and history of the Russian Orthodox community in Tasmania.
Due to delays in current site works, this building open has been cancelled. We apologise for any inconvenience. Look out for this building in the 2024 Open House Hobart program.
