The Wolfe & Thorn presents the music of Alexander Laing and the Settlement era
Experience a unique and atmospheric evening, where the music of Alexander Laing and his contemporaries will transport you back in time. Laing, a Scottish transported convict and talented fiddler, worked as a Gaol Keeper in Richmond and Port Arthur.
Join us as we share and respectfully discuss this part of our history, featuring not only Laing but also other Tasmanian composer favourites. Emily Wolfe on violin and CC Thornley on banjo will create an engaging and moving atmosphere that you won’t want to miss.
